One of the most important issues, handled following Isdemir’s turnover to Erdemir on February 1, 2002 was the investment planning studies. After the on-going revamp and modernization studies, cost savings started in Isdemır.  Erdemir, which is the owner of 92,91 % of shares of İsdemir, was sold by the Privatization Administration to OYAK on February 27, 2006.

Furthermore, Isdemir’s financial position is strengthening and an increase in productivity is achieved in all fields. Value-added products have been produced since the investments for flat products were realized.
